Saint Louis Zoo Souvenir Coin Program 2025-2030

• Seeking vendor to operate souvenir coin program (penny press and medallion machines) at St. Louis Zoo locations • Initial 5-year contract (Jan 2026 - Dec 2030) with optional 2-year extension • Scope includes: - Installing/operating 13 penny press units and 3 medallion machines - Most machines must be outdoor-capable with weather resistance - All units must accept credit cards/digital payments - Vendor responsible for equipment, maintenance, and payment processing - Must refresh designs periodically (new medallion every 2 years, new penny designs every 3 years) • Revenue sharing arrangement - vendor to propose split percentage • Key requirements: - ADA compliance required - Must use Zoo-approved artwork/fonts - Monthly revenue reporting - Non-exclusive agreement • Selection criteria: - Scope of Work (35 points) - Revenue Share (40 points) - Ability to start/timeline (10 points) - Other factors including supplier diversity (15 points)
