Description
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking a contractor to provide engine replacement services for a fire engine at the Lassen National Forest. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, parts, and components for the repair of the engine, including updating maintenance and service records, performing post-installation start-up and basic test results reporting, and delivering the equipment to the Lassen National Forest. The contract is expected to be a firm-fixed price contract, and the award will be made to the offeror representing the best value to the Government.
Key considerations for this project include:
• The ability to provide OEM parts for the engine model Maxxforce 9 330HP
• The ability to deliver the equipment to the Lassen National Forest within 60 days of receipt of the order
• The ability to provide a Certificate of Conformance (COC) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.246-15
• The ability to provide traceability for the offered product back to the manufacturer or authorized distributor
