The University of Southern Mississippi is issuing an Invitation for Bid to purchase and deliver ten (10) single‑wall, non‑insulated vertical HDPE tanks (approximately 10,000 gallons each) and associated accessories for use in a recirculating aquaculture system (RAS). All tanks must meet FDA‑compliant food‑grade specifications, NSF/ANSI 61 certification, and be delivered FOB destination with full documentation and coordination for unloading. Bidders may propose equivalent manufacturers but must provide detailed equivalency data.
• Quantity: 10 vertical storage tanks, 10,000 gal each
• Required material: FDA‑compliant virgin HDPE, UV‑stabilized, NSF/ANSI 61 certified
• Dimensions: ~142 in. diameter × 166.5 in. height
• Accessories: 2‑in. bulkhead fittings, vented manway lids, optional additional fittings in reinforced dome
• Delivery: FOB Destination, fully assembled, with packing list and installation/handling docs
• Preferred manufacturer: Snyder Industries Model 32036 (or approved equal)
