Foster Building Elevator Upgrade

Eastern Kentucky University is seeking bids for upgrades to the elevator in the Foster Building. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the project outlined in the event and attachments. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on 12/3/2025 at 10:00 AM EST. The project has an engineer's estimate of $250,000.00, and the substantial completion date is 120 days from the stated start date on the purchase order, with a final completion date of 135 days. • The project requires bid bonds and performance bonds unless otherwise stated. • The university's standard payment terms are Net 30. • The project has a liquidated damages clause of $200 per day until substantial completion and $100 per day until final completion. • The contractor must provide a list of similar projects in size and scope as being requested by this solicitation. • The contractor must provide a list of current projects under contract and bonded.
