Description
The Newark Board of Education is seeking qualified contractors to replace the rooftop HVAC units at the Quitman Street Annex school. The scope includes removal of existing units, installation of new rooftop HVAC equipment, duct cleaning for all new ductwork, and coordination with the building’s fire‑alarm and building‑management systems. Bidders must be pre‑qualified under NJ DPMC classifications C008, C009, or C032 (HVACR) and must be able to start immediately after award, completing the work within 170 working days. Equipment lead‑times may push deliveries into early 2027, and the Board will negotiate schedule extensions as needed. All original drawings referencing “Samuel L. Berliner School” apply to the Quitman Street Annex. No separate drawing set is provided with this addendum.
