The University of Colorado Boulder is seeking a Design/Bid/Build General Contractor for two projects: UCB001417-MRCT B&C-Exterior Walkways-2026 and UCB001460-NTCT 2R, 2V & 2W-Exterior Balcony Removal -2026. The projects involve replacing exterior staircases and walkways, and removing exterior balconies and replacing them with Juliet style railings. The construction budgets for the projects are $850,000 and $730,000, respectively. The scope of services includes full Construction Contracting Services for the project, and the contractor will be required to meet certain minimum qualifications, including having a Colorado office, experience with similar projects, and bonding capacity. • The projects are expected to be completed by August 2026. • The contractor will be required to attend a mandatory pre-submittal conference. • The contractor will be required to submit a bid bond and performance bond. • The contractor will be required to comply with the State of Colorado's prevailing wage rate and apprenticeship program requirements.
