The County of Kern is seeking to make an award(s) in accordance with the attached bid requirements and specifications for new and unused Pickup Truck with Service Body. Interested bidders shall review, print, and return completed specifications with bid response. The vehicle should meet the specified requirements, including engine, transmission, axle ratio, brakes, and other features. The bid should include the unit cost, taxes, delivery costs, and other relevant information. • The vehicle should have a 5.0L V8 engine, 3/4 Ton Pickup 2WD 8650 GVWR with Service Body, and a bed length of 8 feet minimum. • The vehicle should have an automatic 6-Spd HD transmission with overdrive, heavy-duty automatic locking rear differential, and power front and rear disc brakes. • The vehicle should have a trailer tow package, including a 10,000 lb. receiver hitch, 7-wire RV flat/spade type harness, and high capacity air cleaner. • The utility body should have a length of 8 feet, height of 35 inches, and floor width of 49 inches, with three 15-inch deep side cabinets on each side and adjustable shelving. • The bid should include the unit cost, taxes, delivery costs, and other relevant information.
