Description
The Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) is seeking a vendor to rent one Combi-CBE 6000 forklift for a period of one year, with three optional 12-month extensions. The forklift will be used to move material between tight rows of shelving, maximizing warehouse spaces for production and staging. The vendor must provide maintenance every 500 running hours or yearly, and on-site personnel training on how to operate the machine. The vendor must also furnish all tools, labor, supervision, materials, and transportation necessary to provide safe, operable vehicles and service.
• The forklift must have a capacity of at least 6,000 lbs.
• The forklift must have an unladen weight of at least 15,450 lbs.
• The forklift must have a grade-ability of at least 10%.
• The forklift must have a battery capacity of 48V/930 Ah.
• The forklift must have an AC electric traction motor and an AC electric pump motor.
• The forklift must have a fork section of at least 5”x2”x47”.
• The forklift must have an overhead guard and a +/- 4” side shift.
• The forklift must have load sensing steering and 4-way lever positioning of wheels.
• The forklift must have system communication via CAN-BUS.
• The forklift must have multi-directional operation and 2-wheel electric drive.
• The forklift must have a standard lift height of 193” and a free lift height of 52”.
• The forklift must have a height mast closed of 88” and a max mast raised of 228”.
• The forklift must have flashing beacons, 4 LED work lights, and a back-up alarm.
