The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing a Notice of Intent to Sole Source a contract for the maintenance, calibration, and repair of Viewpoint (formerly Checkpoint) temperature, humidity, and differential‑pressure sensors across its Hudson Valley Health Care System facilities. The award will be made to EOI, Inc. dba Medical Resources and will cover a 12‑month base period with up to four one‑year extensions. The contractor must provide on‑site and remote support, ensure ≥ 95 % sensor uptime, respond to service calls within four hours, and deliver detailed calibration and status reports on prescribed schedules.
• 398 Viewpoint devices located at two main campuses and seven CBOCs require annual and semi‑annual calibration, preventive maintenance, and unscheduled repairs.
