The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from potential vendors to replace or acquire 5 Reverse Osmosis Machines for the Tucson VA Medical Facility. The machines must be portable, capable of producing dialysis-grade purified water, and meet specific requirements such as automated heat disinfection, production capacity, purification performance, and compatibility with dialysis machines. The vendor must provide a capabilities statement, company information, and answer questions regarding their business and product. Some of the key requirements include: • Automated heat disinfection • Production capacity of 650 mL/min to 2600 mL/min • Purification performance to reduce TDS to less than 10 ppm • Compatibility with dialysis machines • Portability and ease of use • Regulatory compliance with FDA, CE, and VA policies The purpose of this RFI is to gather information for planning purposes and to identify potential qualified sources. Responses will be used to make acquisition decisions and may lead to further RFIs or solicitations.
