Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to procure 100 commercial-grade laundry carts for the Central Texas Veterans Health Care Facility in Waco, Texas. The carts must be durable, safe, and ergonomically designed to withstand daily use in a healthcare environment. The contractor will be responsible for supplying, delivering, and assembling the carts if required. The contract will be awarded to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable offeror.
Key features of the required laundry carts include:
• Capacity: 28"W x 54.5"L x 63"O.H. (52" D)
• Frame: Fiberglass upright delivery one-piece solid construction with two removable/convertible shelves and two spring-loaded chest pull handles
• Casters: 6" casters, two swivel and two rigid, with one step wheel lock top mount and foot-activated wheel lock
• Color: Inside color will be gray gel coat, outside color will be slate blue
The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including OSHA workplace safety standards, ASTM International standards, and ADA accessibility considerations.
