Description
The Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice is seeking a qualified contractor to replace the hydraulic HVAC controls system at the Campbell Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Newport, KY with a new digital Direct‑Digital‑Control (DDC) system. The scope includes removal of the existing controls, supply and installation of the new DDC hardware, programming, startup, and integration with existing building equipment and the Commonwealth Energy Management and Controls System (CEMCS). In addition, the existing gas‑fired makeup air unit (MAU) and exhaust fan serving the kitchen hood must be removed and replaced. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Commonwealth e‑Procurement system; no paper or hard‑copy bids are accepted. A mandatory site‑visit is scheduled for 9/28/2026 (optional but encouraged).
