Western Branch and Lake Prince Aerator System Replacement Project – LOX Equipment

The City of Norfolk is seeking bids for the Western Branch and Lake Prince Aerator System Replacement – LOX Equipment project. The project involves furnishing and installing liquid oxygen tanks, vaporizers, and associated piping at the Western Branch Pump Station. The work includes furnishing and installing the LOX storage tanks and vaporizers on the concrete equipment pads existing at the Western Branch Pump Station. The project also involves furnishing and installing the LOX piping from the quick connect fittings to the storage tanks and from the tanks to the vaporizers, and the Gaseous Oxygen (GOX) piping from the vaporizers to the Final Line Manifold. • The project requires the installation of electrical and controls associated with the LOX storage and vaporization system. • The project involves the relocation of a pole-mounted light fixture, new pole base, and receptacle. • The project requires the furnishing and installation of new molded case circuit breakers in existing panels. • The project involves the maintenance of a minimum of 2" between power, control, and instrumentation conduits or conductors.
