New ABA compliant exterior elevator at the Bilateral CMR - U.S. Embassy Vienna, Austria

The U.S. Embassy Vienna, Austria is seeking a contractor to provide a new exterior elevator at the Bilateral CMR to ensure ABA compliant accessibility to both floors of the building. The work includes site preparation, structural modifications to the CMR, installation of a code-compliant elevator system, weatherproofing, electrical and safety system integration, and all necessary finishes to ensure seamless access and operation. The successful contractor will be required to provide complete construction services, project coordination, and supervision. • The elevator will serve the exterior patio level, first floor lobby, and second floor hallway. • The work includes site preparation, excavation and foundations, structural modifications to the CMR, construction of a steel and glass enclosure, installation of a code-compliant elevator system, weatherproofing, mechanical, electrical and plumbing work, safety system integration, and all necessary finishes. • The magnitude of the project is anticipated to be between $500,000 and $2,000,000. • Companies interested in the RFQ should express their interest by written correspondence, no later than February 19, 2026.
