Dump Truck

This contract is for the purchase of a new dump truck to be used for performing maintenance functions, including snow removal, throughout the Topeka Public Schools district. The contract was awarded to two vendors: Shawnee Mission Ford and Olathe Ford. The truck specifications include a diesel DRW 2-ton truck with an installed Knapheide dump body, with a Ford model year 2020, 2-ton model F-550 XL super duty or Chevrolet Silverado 2-ton model 5500HD or Dodge Ram 5500 ST or equal. The contract includes a 3-year or 36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and a 5-year or 100,000-mile power train warranty.
