Request for Applications: RFA 5965 SNAP Employment and Training

The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services is awarding sub‑grants under the federal SNAP Next Step Employment & Training program (RFA 5965). The grant is open‑ended, accepting applications continuously, and provides a 50 % cost‑reimbursement to eligible entities that deliver workforce‑development services to SNAP‑eligible adults. Ten organizations have been notified of intent to award in June 2025. Recipients must furnish a non‑federal match equal to the federal share, cannot retain profit, and must report monthly participant data and annual performance.
