Aquatic Mapping Services / DSR

This contract is for comprehensive aquatic vegetation mapping of four Worcester water bodies (Indian Lake, Coes Reservoir, Bell Pond, and Lake Quinsigamond). The City of Worcester will pay the selected vendor to conduct field surveys, generate GIS‑ready maps, and provide a written management report. The work must be finished by the end of 2025 and includes mandatory insurance coverage and a one‑year warranty on deliverables. • Survey period: July 15 – August 31 2025, with data collection on plant cover, biovolume, and invasive species. • Deliverables: GIS layers (geodatabase), detailed maps for each lake, and a final report due December 31 2025. • Requirements: Contractor supplies all equipment, holds $1M‑$2M liability insurance, and complies with city procurement rules.
