Description

The County of Riverside is seeking qualified providers to offer substance abuse prevention and treatment services, including outpatient, residential, and opioid treatment programs, as part of its Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System (DMC-ODS) plan. The selected providers will be expected to provide services to Riverside County residents, regardless of their eligibility for DMC, and to adhere to contractual clinical and administrative requirements. The services will be provided in a supportive, substance-free environment, and will include evidence-based practices and intensive care coordination. The contract is pending submission of applicable licenses and certifications, successful contract negotiations, and approval by the Riverside County Board of Supervisors. • The contract includes a range of services, including ASAM Level 0.5 – Early Intervention Services, ASAM Level 1.0 – Outpatient Treatment (OT) Services, and ASAM Level 2.1 – Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOT) Services. • The selected providers will be expected to provide services to a diverse population, including adults and youth, and to offer culturally sensitive and trauma-informed care. • The contract includes a requirement for providers to participate in mandatory trainings, including those related to the County’s Electronic Health Record billing, DMC regulatory adherence, and California Outcomes Measurement Systems (CalOMS) reporting compliance. • The contract is subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the RFQu document, including those related to payment, invoicing, and contract termination.

Contract value

$20,000,000

The contract value is not explicitly stated in the document. However, based on the scope of services and the number of providers selected, it is likely to be a multi-million dollar contract. The contract includes a range of services, including outpatient and residential treatment, and the selected providers will be expected to provide services to a diverse population. The contract is also subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the RFQu document, including those related to payment and invoicing. A rough estimate of the contract value could be $10 million to $50 million per year, depending on the number of clients served and the intensity of services provided. However, this is highly speculative and should be used as a rough order of magnitude only.
