159th Street (I-35 to Old 56 Highway) Road Improvements, KDOT Project No. 46 N-0610-01

The City of Olathe, Kansas, is seeking bids for the construction of 159th Street Road Improvements, which includes the construction of a 2-mile two-lane concrete paved roadway with curb and gutter, sidewalks, three large culverts, enclosed storm sewer, pavement marking, signing, and street lighting. The project also includes the full reconstruction of the 159th Street and Old 56 intersection, and the asphalt mill and overlay of Old 56 Highway. The engineer's estimate for the project is $3,153,239.40. • The project consists of road improvements of 159th Street from I-35 to Old 56 Highway. • The project includes the construction of a ~2 miles of two-lane concrete paved roadway with curb and gutter, sidewalks, three large culverts, enclosed storm sewer, pavement marking, signing, and street lighting. • The project also includes the full reconstruction of the 159th Street and Old 56 intersection, including approximately 1,500 LF of Old 56 Highway and 750 LF of 159th Street west of Old 56 Highway. • The project will include asphalt mill and overlay of Old 56 Highway from 159th Street to ~1 mile north.
