Pumps, Pump Parts and Repair Services

The City of St. Petersburg has awarded a contract to Alttec Corporation dba Digital Control Company for the provision of pumps, pump parts, and repair services. The contract is for a period of 5 years, with an option to renew for an additional 2 years. The contractor will provide all labor, materials, supervision, tools, equipment, and vehicles necessary to provide pumps, authorized pump parts, and authorized pump repairs for various types and manufacturers of pumps used throughout the city. The contractor will also install parts or rebuild/repair pumps at the owner's facilities, if applicable. The contract includes a detailed scope of work, minimum qualifications, and requirements for the contractor. The city reserves the right to terminate the contract if the contractor fails to comply with the conditions of the agreement. Some key points of this contract include: * The contractor must provide OEM quality parts and repair services. * The contractor must comply with the Water Treatment and Distribution Division's Construction and Security Standards. * The contractor must provide a single point of contact, dedicated account manager, to administer the agreement. * The contractor must submit written estimates to the requesting department for firm prices that cannot be established at the time of quote. * The contractor must provide a "Work Estimate Sheet" for all jobs performed for the city, attached to all submitted invoices. * The city requires background checks on all contractor employees who perform services at city facilities.
