PWC - Site Development for Hat Island Cable

This contract is for the site development of the Hat Island Cable, which includes the installation of Horizontal Directionally Drilled (HDD) conduits, electrical and fiberoptic splice vaults, and associated equipment. The work will take place on land and in the nearshore environment at the Port of Everett and Hat Island. The contract has an estimated value of $2,750,000.00. Key aspects of the project include: • Handling contaminated soils on the Port of Everett side • Mitigating surface and subsurface water management with the installation of a casing designed to separate contaminants from the HDD operation • Obtaining the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) for contractors working at the Port of Everett • Coordinating with District crew for connection to the existing distribution system
