Joint Use/Co-Location Agreement BOCC/BCSO/GCSC

This contract is a joint use/co-location agreement between the Bay County Board of County Commissioners, the Bay County Sheriff's Office, and Gulf Coast Community College. The agreement allows for the co-location of communications personnel from the Sheriff's Office and the County in the County portion of the public safety/emergency operation center (PS/EOC) located at 700 Highway 2300, Bay County, FL. The contract has a term of 47 years, from October 6, 2009, to September 19, 2056. The agreement includes provisions for facilities, insurance, areas of operation and security, network access, and miscellaneous provisions. • The contract allows for the sharing of resources between the Sheriff's Office and the County. • The County is responsible for providing facilities, utilities, and support services. • The Sheriff's Office is responsible for insurance on its own equipment, furniture, goods, and services. • The contract includes provisions for security and access to restricted areas. • The agreement is subject to the terms and conditions of the Joint Use Agreement between the County and Gulf Coast Community College.
