Description
The City of Wilmington is seeking a qualified contractor to plant approximately 464 municipal street trees across the city during FY 25. The scope includes supplying trees of 47 different species, planting each to specified standards, providing initial watering, mulch application, staking, and an 18‑month post‑planting warranty covering replacement of any failed trees. Bidders must submit unit prices for each species, carry required insurance, and comply with minority‑business participation goals. Work must be completed within 60 days of a start date that will be set after award, and the City retains 10 % of invoiced amounts until the warranty period ends. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder under a full and open competition.
