Description
The County of Butte is seeking a contractor to remove and dispose of existing roofing materials, HVAC unit, and HVAC ducting, and install a new single-ply PVC roofing system at the Palermo Fire Station. The project must be completed within 60 days after Notice to Proceed. The contractor must provide unit prices for deck repair and walkway pads, and include the cost in the base bid for the quantities specified. The contractor is also responsible for ensuring a roofing material manufacturer's certified inspector conducts a final inspection. The county will provide a third-party consultant to monitor removal of hazardous materials on the roof, and will remove existing roof electrical conduit, wires, and cables prior to construction.
