Asphalt Materials (Co-op)

This contract is for the provision of asphalt materials, including superpave asphaltic concrete and asphalt emulsion, to be picked up by the County at the contractor's site. The contract has a term of 60 months and a budget of $1,164,800. The contractor is required to have a quality control program manager and/or plant superintendent onsite to ensure accurate and quality mixes per specifications. The contractor must also have the capability to prepare a mix on demand, in less than two hours, and coordinate daily morning material requirements with the County. • Key aspects of the contract include: • The contractor must provide product information, such as Material Safety Data Sheets, product specifications, and detailed installation instructions. • The contractor must disclose vendor site/plant details and provide a quote prior to County Representative approval for any additional goods and/or services. • The contract includes a pricing proposal for the provision of asphalt materials, with unit costs and total costs specified for each item. • The contract also includes provisions for payment and pricing terms, expenditures cap, and entire agreement.
