Tractor with Side & Rear Flail Mower

The County of Kern is seeking a new and unused "John Deere" 6120E tractor with a Tiger side mower and rear flail mower, or equivalent. The tractor will be delivered to 5438 Victor Street, Bakersfield, CA 93308, and the vendor shall off-load the equipment, service it, and provide a testing demonstration to ensure proper use. The contract includes specifications for the tractor, side mower, and rear flail mower, as well as requirements for delivery, payment, and warranty. • The tractor must be a minimum of 105 and maximum 120 horsepower. • The engine must be certified EPA Tier 4 Final. • The PTO must have a rating of 90 hp minimum and be 540/1000 capability. • The tractor must be 2WD and have a manual transmission with a range selector for all gears. • The tractor must be equipped with a wet kit to run the mower, a factory standard heater and air conditioner, and an adjustable air suspension seat with retractable seat belts. • The side mower must be a 72" side-mounted rotary cut and have a 72" actual cut. • The rear mower must be a 96" flail mower and be hydraulically driven off of the PTO. • The mower must be able to move sideways to the right hydraulically to accommodate the gap between the side mower and rear mower. • The vendor must provide warranty work certification to a local shop capable of performing the work or provide for mobile service to the County's facility to make repairs.
