P-22012 Landscape Mowers District-Wide: Purchase or Lease, Maintenance, and Repairs

This contract is for the purchase or lease, maintenance, and repair of landscape mowers district-wide. The contractor will provide all required equipment, manufacturer's warranties, operations manuals, training materials, and transportation, vehicles, and other services necessary to service, maintain, and repair mowers. The contractor will also provide storage facilities for the mowers and other equipment. The contract has a two-year initial term with three one-year extension options. The total contract amount is $1,000,000 for Russo Hardware, Inc. and $3,400,000 for Shorewood Home & Auto. • The contractor will provide new, unused, commercial-grade mowers durable enough to withstand high usage. • The contractor will provide maintenance and repair services for the existing fleet of mowers. • The contractor will provide storage facilities for the mowers and other equipment. • The contractor will provide training for Park District personnel on the use, care, and maintenance of the mowers. • The contractor will provide reports and records of all maintenance and repair services performed.
