Street Sweeping Services

The City of Tucson has awarded a contract for street sweeping services to C&S Sweeping Services, Inc. The contract is for a term of 2 years, starting on June 15, 2024, and ending on September 15, 2026. The contract includes routine scheduled sweeping, special event sweeping, and emergency response sweeping. The contractor is required to provide and maintain vehicles and equipment sufficient to perform the work and render the services required by the contract. The City of Tucson reserves the right to inspect the contractor's equipment at any time to ensure compliance with the contract. Some key points of the contract include: * Routine scheduled sweeping of arterial, collector, commercial, and residential streets * Special event sweeping for community events and holiday events * Emergency response sweeping for incidents such as debris on the roadway during or immediately following a storm * Sweeping speed shall be adjusted to street conditions with a recommended speed of 3 to 12 miles per hour * The contractor is responsible for securing and storing all vehicles, materials, supplies, and/or equipment * The City of Tucson reserves the right to direct schedule changes made necessary due to inclement weather * The contractor is required to provide a list of equipment to be used in fulfilling services under the agreement * The contractor is responsible for primary loss investigation, defense, and judgment costs where indemnification is applicable
