Badlands Diesel Storage Tank Decommissioning

The County of Riverside - Waste Management Department (WMARC) is soliciting proposals to decommission and move a 5,000 gallon aboveground diesel storage tank at the Badlands Sanitary Landfill. The contract was awarded to three vendors: Western Pump, Phoenix Environmental, and Tafoya & Associates, Inc. The contract includes two bid items: Mobilization & Demobilization and Tank Cleaning & Removal. The contract values for each vendor are: Western Pump ($9,500.00), Phoenix Environmental ($10,850.00), and Tafoya & Associates, Inc. ($17,767.08). • The contract includes a local preference program, which gives a 5% price preference to local vendors. • The contract also includes a sales tax rate of 8.75%. • The contract has a grand total value for each vendor, which includes the contract value, sales tax, and other applicable fees.
