South Hartford Conveyance and Storage Tunnel: Tunnel Pump Station

This contract awards the design‑build and construction of a Tunnel Pump Station (TPS) and associated facilities for the South Hartford Conveyance and Storage Tunnel project. The scope includes a pump station, control building, grit/screening facility, odor control system, head tank, a 54‑inch force main, and all necessary support equipment, accessories, permits, and related construction services. The work is to be performed in the City of Hartford, Connecticut, and is funded by the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Clean Water Fund. • Construction of a Tunnel Pump Station with control building and ancillary facilities. • Installation of a 54‑inch force main, head tank, grit/screening and odor control systems. • Full integration of all required civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation work, including permits and testing. • Funding sourced from the Connecticut DEEP Clean Water Fund.
