ERNIE MAXWELL TRAIL SHADED FUEL BREAK PROJECT

The County of Riverside is soliciting quotations for the Ernie Maxwell Trail Shaded Fuel Break Project, which involves reducing hazardous fuels and creating a shaded fuel break in the Ernie Maxwell Trail area. The project is funded by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection Grant 5GS14153. The contract was awarded to Pino Tree Service, Inc., Pacific Slope Tree Co., and Jason Family Tree Service. The scope of work includes performing services as per the RFQ-FPARC-302, Exhibit A, Attachment A and A-1, Attachment B and B-1, and Attachment C and C-1. • The project involves three phases, with each phase having a different price per acre. • The contract has a local preference, but it may be waived if funding sources disallow it. • A five percent price preference may be applied to the total bid price during evaluation of the bid responses for Certified California Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE). • The County reserves the right to reject any or all offers, to waive any discrepancy or technicality, and to split or make the award in any manner determined by the County to be most advantageous to the County.
