Description
This contract is for the expansion and enhancement of the Cypress Park Detention Basin in Harris County Precinct 3. The project involves excavating and disposing of soil to expand the basin, as well as constructing a system to preemptively release water and lowering the water surface elevation in advance of major storms. The contract was awarded to Solid Bridge Construction for a total of $7,256,197. The project is expected to reduce the flood risk of the community in the watershed.
