The City of Tucson has awarded a contract to Action Pipeline Contractors for the renewal of 3,169 feet of existing 54" Prestressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe (PCCP) under Columbus Blvd. The project includes the removal of initial 3 24" top outlets, carbon fiber repair, and recommissioning of the pipeline. The contract value is approximately $7,387,408.66. The contractor is required to obtain insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, commercial automobile liability, and worker's compensation. The contract also includes provisions for payment, performance bonds, and liquidated damages.
