Automotive Body Repairs (collision damage)

The City of Coral Gables is seeking bids for automotive body repairs (collision damage) for its fleet of vehicles. The contract was awarded to Faraco Tip Top Paint & Body Shop as the primary vendor and Chino's Ink Werks, Inc. as the secondary vendor. The contract is for a period of three (3) years, with an estimated annual value of $50,000.00. The scope of work includes providing auto body repairs for the City's fleet of vehicles. • The contract was advertised on August 26, 2019, and two responses were received by the deadline of September 16, 2019. • The Procurement Division reviewed the responses to determine responsiveness to the requirements of the IFB and to identify the lowest responsive and responsible bidders. • The Automotive Department conducted a review of the submittals and found the bids to be in conformance with the City's bid requirements. • Fleet staff conducted a site visit of the bidder's facilities and determined both to be in compliance with the equipment requirements.
