The County of Riverside is soliciting quotations for Personal Protective Equipment - Fire Fighting, including HAZMAT suits, wildland pants and jackets, and turnout pants and jackets. The contract is tentatively awarded to AllStar Fire Equipment, WS Acquisition LLC, and L.N. Curtis and sons. The contract includes a local preference program, which gives a 5% price preference to bidders located within Riverside County. The contract also includes a veteran preference program. The contract is for a total of $1,402,117.35. • HAZMAT suits: 10 units at $1,994.20 per unit • Wildland jackets: 400 units at $190.75 per unit • Wildland pants: 250 units at $201.65 per unit • Turnout coats: 600 units at $1,179.00 per unit • Turnout pants: 700 units at $698.94 per unit • Name panels for turnout coats: 650 units at $30.04 per unit
