Construction Manager at Risk Services

The City of Independence, Missouri is seeking a Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) to manage the construction of an existing office building located at 17221 E. 23rd Street, Independence, MO 64057. The CMR will be responsible for delivering the project according to a guaranteed maximum price (GMP) contract and will be required to solicit bids from suppliers and qualified sub-contractors to perform portions of the work. The project is being designed by Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company Inc. • The CMR shall have experience in constructing facilities comparable to the facility being considered for the City of Independence. • The CMR shall have experience in all aspects of constructing large, complex facilities and municipal buildings, with experts dedicated to the implementation of project controls as they relate to construction schedule and construction cost management. • The CMR will assume the risk and delivering the project according to the contract that results from this RFP. • The project is subject to the Missouri Prevailing Wage Order No. 22 for Jackson County, MO dated August 20, 2015.
