Description
This contract is for the provision of heavy-duty fleet, construction, and agricultural/industrial parts, service, and accessories. The contract was awarded to Norwood Equipment, LLC, and has a term of one year, with the option to renew. The contract includes provisions for pricing, delivery, and payment, as well as requirements for warranties, maintenance, and support. The contract also includes terms and conditions related to intellectual property, confidentiality, and termination. Some key points include:
• The contractor shall provide a full line of parts, components, accessories, and services at contractor locations and in the field.
• The contractor shall be an active and authorized distributor of all manufacturers listed on Attachment D - Pricing Sheet.
• The contractor shall provide labor rates, including services at the contractor's facility, afterhours/overtime services, field service calls, and mileage or fuel charges.
• The County reserves the right to add additional contractors, at the County's sole discretion, in cases where the currently listed contractors are of an insufficient number or skill-set to satisfy the County's needs.
• The contract includes a warranty period of at least 12 months, during which the contractor shall guarantee the equipment to be supplied and shall provide all labor and parts required to remove, repair, or replace any defective workmanship and/or materials.
