FSU/MagLab Electrical Reliability Study

The FSU/MagLab Electrical Reliability Study contract is a solicitation for a reliability engineer/consultant/firm to conduct a comprehensive reliability study of the National MagLab's industrial, electrical infrastructure. The study aims to evaluate the present electrical infrastructure and capabilities, as well as the adequacy of the overall setup of these capabilities in pursuit of the National MagLab's performance goals. The contract was awarded to Graybar Corporation in conjunction with Schneider Electric Engineering Services, LLC. Key aspects of the contract include: • Evaluation of the present electrical infrastructure and capabilities • Assessment of the adequacy of the overall setup of these capabilities • Evaluation of the equipment status in view of lifetime, maintainability, redundancy, and advised stock of spare parts for critical equipment • Consideration of the envisioned future expansion of electrical capabilities
