The contract has a term of three years, with an option to renew for an additional three years. The evaluation criteria include pricing, qualifications and experience of the team and individual staff, current workload and availability of staff, and methodology and approach to projects and quality assurance/quality control.

• The contractor must have a minimum of five years of experience on projects of similar size and scope.
• The contractor must provide proof of a current and active Florida corporate charter, or a foreign qualification authorization to do business in Florida.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to environmental and safety standards.
• The contract includes a pricing escalation or de-escalation clause, which allows the university to adjust the contract price based on changes in the consumer price index.
• The contract also includes a provision for the university to make an equitable adjustment in the pricing if the contractor is affected by extreme and unforeseen volatility in the marketplace.
