Infiltration Trench New Heather Way and Grafton Park Drive

The contract is for the construction of infiltration trenches within the roadway, including the removal of asphalt pavement, excavation, installation of storm drain manholes, installation of storm drain pipe, and asphalt paving. The project is funded with local funds and has an engineer's estimate of $505,000. The project has a contract time of 20 working days. The contractor must possess either a Class A Contractor License or a combination of classes required by the categories and types of work included in this contract. • The project requires the payment of prevailing wage rates to be paid to members of each craft or classification performing work on this project. • The contractor shall not be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, subject to the requirements of Section 4104 of the Public Contract Code or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, as defined in this chapter, unless currently registered and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5. • Five Percent (5%) will be withheld from each progress payment made to the contractor for work performed and will be held until completion of the work, its acceptance and the expiration of the period provided by law for filing liens by laborers or materialmen.
