Akhiok Power System Upgrade Project Module Structure Fabrication

This contract calls for the design, fabrication, coating, inspection, and delivery of a single steel module structure, including associated radiator platforms and stairs, for the Akhiok Power System Upgrade Project. The work is limited to shop fabrication; all site installation, foundations, roofing, mechanical, electrical, and other building systems are expressly excluded. Funding is provided jointly by the Denali Commission (federal) and the State of Alaska, and the contract is awarded on a lowest‑responsive‑bid basis with several Alaska‑based preferences that may affect the evaluation. The contractor must provide shop drawings, maintain a two‑day progress‑report schedule, give at least 48 hours notice before shipment to the FOB point in Anchorage, and adhere to liquidated‑damages provisions for late delivery. Warranty and continuing support obligations extend for the contract term.
