Outdoor Power Equipment, Parts and Repair Services

The City of Tucson is seeking a contractor to provide outdoor power equipment, parts, and repair services for use by all City departments. The contract has an estimated annual spend of $75,000 and will be for a term of 5 years, with the option to renew. The contractor will be required to provide a comprehensive and extensive line of quality made OEM and/or 3rd party parts, materials, and supplies to support the daily maintenance, repair, and operations functions of various City departments. The contractor will also be required to provide repair services, including pickup and delivery, and technical services, including training and customer support. Some key points to consider for this contract include: • The City is seeking a contractor who can provide a wide range of outdoor power equipment and parts, including chainsaws, trimmers, and blowers. • The contractor will be required to have local facilities and sufficient equipment and parts inventory to provide quality service. • The City is interested in evaluating value-add services, including repair services, technical services, and customer support. • The contractor will be required to provide a quote for each piece of equipment requiring repairs and to obtain authorization from the City representative before beginning repairs. • The City reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time, with or without cause, upon giving 30 days' written notice.
