MOWING - CITY PARKS

The City of Palm Bay is requesting proposals for mowing maintenance services at City Parks. The services include mowing, curb edging, weed and grass trimming, sweeping/blowing sidewalks and streets, and pickup and removal of litter and cut debris. The contract excludes athletic turf fields and has specific inclusions and exclusions. A pre-bid conference was held on October 29, 2015. The City rejected the proposals and intends to reissue the solicitation at a later date. • The contract requires a proposal security of at least $1,000. • The City Parks include the Parks & Recreation Administration building and the Fire Rescue Headquarters building. • The contractor must alert the receptionist at the Fire Rescue Headquarters building before mowing the median. • The contract has specific requirements for mowing cycles and exclusions.
