Major Measure - Single Family Weatherization Services

This contract is for weatherization services to increase the energy efficiency of low-income client homes in Multnomah County. The contract includes services such as insulation, window replacement, and door replacement. The contract was awarded to five vendors: All West Coast, GBA Insulation CONSTRUCTION LLC, Good Energy Retrofit LLC, Builder Alpha Performance Energy SERVICES ENERGY Insulation and Comfort & GROUP INC SAVERS INC, and Richart Family Group. The total value of the contract is estimated to be around $1,159,220 annually. • The contract includes a list of pre-approved weatherization measures that can be performed by the vendors. • The vendors will be selected based on their bid prices and their ability to perform the work. • The contract includes a provision for the vendors to provide a warranty for their work. • The contract also includes a provision for the county to inspect the work and to require the vendors to correct any defects. • The vendors will be required to follow all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to lead-based paint and asbestos. • The contract includes a provision for the county to terminate the contract if the vendor fails to perform the work in accordance with the contract terms.
