REPLACE ENGINE IN E-ONE LADDER TRUCK

The City of Mobile is seeking a qualified vendor to replace the diesel engine on its E‑One ladder truck (Typhoon 100’ platform) and perform all associated mechanical, electrical, and fluid‑system work. The selected vendor must supply a new ISX 12500 engine with a minimum one‑year warranty, transport the truck to its facility for the work, and return it to the City garage after completing a full suite of tests, including a road test with a fire‑apparatus technician. The bid is sealed, all‑or‑none, with a 5 % bid bond required, and the City will not pay sales or excise taxes. • Replace and install a new ISU 12500 engine, motor mounts, belts, and related components. • Perform cooling‑system, A/C, DPF, DEF, and ECM programming and a break‑in procedure. • Transport the truck to/from the vendor’s shop and conduct final road‑test verification.
