Municipal Sweeping

The City of Independence, Missouri, is soliciting bids for Street Sweeping services for the Public Works department. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the satisfactory performance of the street sweeping work. The contract includes twice a year street sweeping services, once in the spring and once in the fall, as well as call-out services on a per-mile basis. The city reserves the right to provide questions and answers to all prospective bidders in the form of an addendum to the Invitation to Bid. • The bid posting date is January 17, 2020, and the bid submission date is February 7, 2020. • The city intends to cancel awarding a contract for this service. • The contract documents include a revised invitation to bid, addendum, priority routes map, affidavit, bond payment and performance document, and instructions on how to respond to the bid.
