Countywide Roadway Deer Carcass Removal Service (BC-BID-21-23)

The County of Bergen has awarded a contract to Deer Carcass Removal Services LLC for the removal and sanitary disposal of deer carcasses from county roads. The contract is for a 12-month period, commencing on July 6, 2023, and ending on July 5, 2024. The total value of the contract is not to exceed $150,000.00. The contract includes a renewal option for an additional 12 months. The scope of work includes the removal of deer carcasses from county roads, with a removal cost per deer carcass of $85.00. • The contract was awarded through a bid process, with one respondent, Deer Carcass Removal Services LLC. • The contract is subject to the appropriation of funds in the 2023 and 2024 temporary and/or adopted budget(s). • The contract is in accordance with the Affirmative Action Regulations of the State of New Jersey and requirements of Public Law 1975, Chapter 127, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq.
