Commercial Grade Road Base

The State of Utah Division of Purchasing issued an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the provision of commercial grade road base, including delivery, to Camp Williams in Bluffdale, Utah. The contract was awarded to Staker Parson Materials and Construction as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The contract is for 5 years, and the vendor must provide 6,000 tons of 3/4-inch commercial grade road base according to the specifications and requirements in Attachment B - Scope of Work. • The IFB was issued in accordance with the State of Utah Procurement Code and the Utah Administrative Code. • The contract includes terms and conditions, including a provision for the vendor to acquire and maintain all applicable federal, state, and local licenses. • The vendor must also comply with the Utah Procurement Code and the Utah Administrative Code. • The contract may be modified to incorporate new technology or technological upgrades. • The State of Utah Division of Technology Services has the authority to allow other Executive Branch Agencies to participate in the contract. • The contract includes a provision for the vendor to provide product samples, if required. • The vendor must also comply with the terms and conditions of the contract, including the payment terms and the delivery schedule.
