Description
The City of Wilmington is seeking qualified contractors to supply labor, materials, equipment and related services to plant and maintain 632 trees city‑wide during FY 26. The work includes planting trees to specification, protecting underground utilities, providing traffic control, maintaining the trees (watering, pruning, staking) for an 18‑month warranty period, and disposing of all waste material. The contractor must attend a mandatory pre‑proposal meeting, submit a per‑tree unit price, maintain required insurance, and meet minority‑ and women‑owned business participation goals. The contract will be awarded through a competitive sealed‑bid process, with a 10 % retainage held until warranty completion.
