Dead Tree Removal (BC-BID 20-08)

The County of Bergen has awarded a contract for the removal of dead trees along county roads. The contract was awarded to two vendors, Almstead Tree & Shrub Care Co. LLC and NaturesTree's Inc. D/B/A Sav-A-Tree. The contract term is from April 1, 2020, to December 31, 2020, with an option to renew for an additional term. The contract requires the vendors to remove dead trees as required by the County of Bergen, Division of Operations. The vendors must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. The contract also requires the vendors to provide proof of business registration and to collect and remit use tax on all sales of tangible personal property delivered into the state.
